Giving grounded and knowledgeable counseling for the whole family is what Jennings Counseling Services is known for. We practice individuals, couples, and family-based counseling, integrating Christian values. You get a one-on-one individual therapy setting with us in order to assess your needs along with your desired goals and then work towards those goals by meeting with you weekly or more if needed.

- Individual therapy - in a one on one setting in which your needs are assessed along with your input and desired goals. We then work towards those goals typically meeting once a week for an hour
- Marriage therapy - to address infidelity, anger and hurt, as well as imbalance in the relationship
- Family therapy - to address co-parenting for divorced families, behavioral issues with children, and issues with blended families
Steve is a graduate of West Texas A & M University. He holds an M.A. in Professional Counseling and a B.A. in Psychology. He is an ordained minister and has pastored a non-denominational church prior to going into fulltime counseling. He is a licensed professional counselor (LPC-S), and is also certified and licensed in the state of Texas to supervise and train other therapists. His counseling experience and interests are in marriage therapy, working with blended families, and co-parenting through divorce. He is well trusted and is regularly called upon to testify in local cases as an expert witness. Steve is available to speak at conferences and in churches on marriage and family subjects. Steve is in practice with his wife Lynn Jennings. The 2 have been married for 30 years and have 3 children, as well as 2 grandchildren.
Lynn is a graduate of West Texas A & M University. She holds an M.A. in Professional Counseling and a B.A. in Psychology. She is a licensed professional counselor and she holds a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor license in the state of Texas. She contracts with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and other private agencies that help abused children in the Panhandle. She has worked in youth ministry for many years. Her special therapeutic interests include sexual and physical abuse, relationship issues, building positive relationships, grief, eating disorders, rejection, and abandonment issues. She is available for speaking engagements at conferences and church functions on topics marriage and family Issues, purity seminars, and teen girl issues.
Bobbi graduated with her Masters of Science from Capella University's CACREP accredited Mental Health Counseling Program. Bobbi received her License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential from the state of Texas in 2011. She has four years of experience in working with victims of crime and trauma. She has provided crisis counseling, marriage and family therapy, group as well as individual therapy. Her therapeutic interests include child, adolescent/teen issues, adjustment and phase of life issues, marriage and family therapy, self-esteem issues, multi-cultural issues and military lifestyle issues. Bobbi has been married for sixteen years and has two children. Her husband's military career brought them to Amarillo in 2007 and they have since elected to call the Texas panhandle their permanent home.
Amanda obtained her B.A. with dual majors in Religion and Museum Studies from Baylor University, and a M.A. in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She received her licensing as a counselor in the state of Texas in 2010. Amanda has previously worked at Hopes Door, a domestic violence shelter in the Plano Area, and Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch here in the Panhandle, prior to joining Jennings Counseling Services. Her therapeutic interests include infertility and adoption counseling, self-esteem counseling, marriage and family therapy, and teen issues.
